Value Configuration Options Dialog Box

This dialog box enables you to enter input values for a step using constants, local parameters, or component parameters. When the business component runs, it uses this value for the step.

To access
  1. In the Business Components module, select a component with Keyword GUI automation.

  2. Click the Automation tab.

  3. Click in a Value cell.

  4. Click Configure the value .

Important information

If at least one input component parameter is defined in the component, the default input type is Component parameter and the default input name is the first input parameter from the Parameters tab of the Business Components module.

Note: If no component parameter is defined, you must define one before you can use it to parameterize an input value. For details, see Parameters.

Tip: To cancel the parameterization of a value, select the Constant radio button in the Value Configuration Options dialog box and enter a constant value.
