Alerts Dialog Box

This dialog box enables you to view a list of alerts for a selected record.

To access

Use one of the following:

  • In a tree or grid view, click the Alerts flag in the Alerts column. If this column is not visible, select View > Indicator Columns.

  • Right-click the entity and select Alerts.

Available for:

  • Requirements

  • Tests in the Test Plan module

  • Test instances in the Execution Grid

  • Defects

Important information

You can only clear alerts that are assigned to you, or that are not assigned to any user. The user to which an alert is assigned is the user that is sent email notification when the alert is triggered. For details, see Alerts Overview.

User interface elements are described below (unlabeled elements are shown in angle brackets):

Clear all

Deletes all alerts for the record.

Clear Alert. Deletes the specific alert.

<Alert details pane>

Displays a list of alerts for the selected record.

Expand an alert to view details of the change that triggered the alert.

Click a link to highlight the item in the tree or grid.

<Selected record>

Displays the type and name of the selected record. For example, "Alerts for Requirement <Travel Guides>".
