This section describes how to restore a project backed up on a Microsoft SQL database server.
For details, see this KB article.
From the SQL Server Enterprise Manager, navigate to the database and select Tools > Restore Database.
Navigate to the backup file, and follow the restore procedure to complete the data restore process.
In Site Administration, restore the project. If you are restoring your project from a different directory, or if you renamed your schema, you must update the dbid.xml file accordingly. For details, see Restoring Access to Projects.
If the backup was performed while the project was active, realign the project repository. For details, see Realigning Repositories.
