What's new in ALM 15.0.1 Patch 6
The following new features and enhancements were added in ALM 15.0.1 Patch 6:
- Support Windows 11.
- Internet Explorer is no longer supported in Web Runner. For details, see System requirements.
- ALM Client Launcher 4.2 is shipped with ALM. When accessing the qcbin page with a browser other than Internet Explorer, you can start ALM Client directly with ALM Client Launcher or be forwarded to its download page.
- The Test Board tab is available when the Enterprise Integration extension is enabled for your project. For details, see Test Board Tab.
What's new in ALM 15.0.1 Patch 3
ALM Test Runs Injection for Octane enables you to run tests in ALM and automatically inject test sets and test runs from ALM to ALM Octane.

Sharing Dashboards and Reports as Templates Across Projects |
Dashboards and reports can now be shared as templates across projects. The property fields of the shared data cannot be edited. However, you can modify the graph filter, X- and Y-axes fields, Group by field, appearance, etc. The following entities can be shared across projects:

What's New in ALM 15.00
This section provides an overview of the features that were introduced or enhanced in ALM 15.00.
SSO Authentication |
SSO access to ALM can be authorized in a federated environment. Users can use single sign-on for logging into ALM as they do with other SSO applications at the site. For details on how to facilitate single sign-on, see Setting up SSO Authentication (for ALM 15.00). If you use Siteminder for user authentication, we recommend you switch to use the SSO authentication solution. |
Web Runner | Web Runner is a manual test execution tool. It enables you to run manual tests and submit defects to ALM from a Web browser, without the need to download the ALM client. After completing your test runs, the test results along with any submitted defects are automatically synchronized to ALM. For details, see Web Runner help. |
Site Administration REST API Reference |

ALM AutoPass License Server (technical preview) |
