Add Template Wizard
Template projects enable you to define and maintain a common set of project customizations for multiple projects. When you create a template, you can link it to projects.
Overview
This wizard enables you to create a new template. You can create an empty template, copy data from an existing template, or copy data from an existing project into a new template.
Select the Projects bar, and click Add Template .
Chose Type Page
This wizard page enables you to select which type of template you want to create.

Chose Template Page
This wizard page enables you to select the template, from which you want to copy data, for your template.

Add Details Page
This wizard page enables you to give your template a name, select a domain for it, create a version control database for it, and enable LoadRunner Enterprise Project Extension for it.
Note: Enabling LoadRunner Enterprise Project Extension is only available when creating an empty template. In the case of creating a project or template which already has LoadRunner Enterprise extension enabled, the new project will by default also have the LoadRunner Enterprise project extension enabled.

Enable LoadRunner Enterprise - Project Extension |
Enables LoadRunner Enterprise project extension for your template upon creation.
Note: This option is available for empty template only. |
Click Finish to create the template. Note: Creating the template might take some time and the system notifies you by e-mail once the process is complete. Although you might see the template in the project tree before you receive the e-mail, do not work on the template until you receive the completion e-mail. |
