Role Management Page

This page enables you to enables you to manage roles.

Note:  

  • Owner customers must determine permissions for their own customer and for the end customers.
  • End customers must determine permissions for their own customer.

User interface elements are described below (unlabeled elements are shown in angle brackets):

Saves the role.

Opens the Create Role Name dialog box, enabling you to create a new role.

Enter a name and click OK. The new role is displayed in the list in the Roles pane.

Opens the Clone Role Name dialog box, enabling you to clone the selected role.

Enter a name for the role and click OK. The new role is displayed in the list in the Roles pane. The role displayed in the Details pane, indicates it is a cloned role and has the same permissions as the role it was cloned from.

Deletes the selected role.

Lists the role names.

Details

The selected role is displayed in the Name field.

Below the Name field are drop-downs, each representing a module. In each drop-down, there is a list, My Customer Context Permissions, you can select permissions from.

For owner customers, each drop-down contains two lists, My Customer Context Permissions and Switch Customer Context Permissions, enabling you to select permissions for your own customer and the end customers below you.
