Test Configurations Tab

This dialog box enables you to define and update test configurations.

To access

In the test plan tree, select a test and click the Test Configurations tab.

Important information

Test Configuration Overview

User interface elements are described below:

UI Element

Description

New Test Configuration. Opens the New Test Configuration dialog box, enabling you to define a test configuration. For details, see New Test Configuration/Test Configuration Details Dialog Box.

Delete Test Configuration. Deletes selected test configuration from the test configurations grid.

Refresh. Refreshes the test configurations grid so that it displays the most up-to-date information.

Test Configuration Details. Opens the Test Configuration Details dialog box, enabling you to display details of the selected test configuration. For details, see New Test Configuration/Test Configuration Details Dialog Box.

Attachments. Opens the Attachments page in the Test Configuration Details dialog box, enabling you to view attachments of the currently selected test configuration. For details, see Attachments Page.

Select Columns. Opens the Select Columns dialog box, enabling you to determine which fields are displayed and their order. For details, see Select Columns/Select Fields Dialog Box.

Set Filter. Enables you to filter and sort the test configurations in the test configurations grid. For details, see Filter Dialog Box.

Business Process Testing:

Test Combinations Generator. Enables you to create unique value combinations for parameters in a business process test. For details, see Test Combinations Generator.

Name

The name of the test configuration.

Created By

The user name of the person who created the test configuration.

Creation Date

The date on which the test configuration was created. By default, the creation date is set to the current ALM server date.

Execution Status

The execution status of the last run of a test configuration. By default, the execution status can be one of the following: Blocked, Failed, N/A, No Run, Not Completed, Passed.

Description

Describes the test configuration.

Data tab

The data associated with the currently selected test configuration. For details, see Data Tab: Static View and Data Tab: Dynamic View.

Attachments tab

Lists attachments that provide additional information about the currently selected test configuration. For details, see Attachments Page.

History tab

Lists changes made to the currently selected requirement. For details, see History Tab.

ID

A unique numeric ID for the test configuration, assigned automatically by ALM.

Modified

The date and time of the last change to the test configuration.

Test ID

A unique numeric ID for the test, assigned automatically by ALM.

Test Name

The name of the test.
