Select Application Area Dialog Box

This dialog box enables you to select an application area for the purposes of automating UFT One keyword GUI components.

To access

  1. In the Business Components module, select a component with Keyword GUI automation.

  2. Click the Automation tab.

  3. Click Select Application Area .

Important information

  • You may be prompted to connect to the project from within UFT One the first time you try to select an application area. For instructions, see the Unified Functional Testing User Guide.
  • Changing an application area may affect the business component and prevent it from running correctly. For example, if a component step uses an object that is not contained in the object repository of the new application area, the step fails.
