Promotion Results Dialog Box

The Promotion Results dialog box enables you to export the results of automatic parameter promotion while creating a new component or flow.

Option	Description
To access	New Test dialog box: When creating a flow with automatic promotion of its parameters, the dialog box is displayed after you click OK if at least one parameter could not be promoted. New Component dialog box: When creating a component with automatic promotion of its parameters, the dialog box is displayed after you click OK if at least one parameter could not be promoted.
Important information	Automatic parameter promotion is enabled in Customization. For details on enabling, see the the help.

User interface are described below:

UI Element	Description
<Successful results>	Information about the parameters that were successfully promoted to the next level.
<Unsuccessful result grid>	Information about the parameters that were not promoted to the next level, in a grid. Test ID. The ID of the test or flow to which the parameter could not be promoted. Test Name. The name of the test or flow to which the parameter could not be promoted. Reason. The reason why the parameter could not be promoted.
Export	Exports the information from <unsuccessful result grid> to a file using the Export All Grid Data dialog box in one of the following formats: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, HTML, or text.

Information about the parameters that were not promoted to the next level, in a grid.

Test ID. The ID of the test or flow to which the parameter could not be promoted.

Reason. The reason why the parameter could not be promoted.

Export

Exports the information from <unsuccessful result grid> to a file using the Export All Grid Data dialog box in one of the following formats: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, HTML, or text.
