Install Microsoft Excel add-in
This section describes how to install the OpenText Application Quality Management Microsoft Excel add-in.
Prerequisite:
Before you install the Microsoft Excel add-in, make sure Microsoft Excel is installed on your machine.

Note: To install this add-in for all users, you must log in with administrator privileges.
To install the Microsoft Excel add-in:

                                                                Close Microsoft Excel. 
- 
                                                                Uninstall any previous versions of the Microsoft Excel add-in.

                                                                Download the ALM Microsoft Excel add-in from Marketplace. Follow the on-screen installation instructions.

                                                                After you install the Excel add-in, configure your Microsoft Excel security settings. For more information on configuring Excel security settings, refer to the Microsoft Excel documentation. 
ALM Excel Add-in tab
After installing the Microsoft Excel add-in, a new tab, ALM Excel Add-in, is added to Excel.
                                                             
                                                        
The tab contains the following fields and icons:

| Login | Opens the login screen to log in to OpenText Application Quality Management. See Step 1: Log in for details. | 
| Domain Project | Select a domain and a project under the domain where your Excel data is exported. | 
| Logout | Logs out of your current session. | 
| Open | Opens the file explorer to search for existing mapping files to use for mapping your Excel data. For details, see Step 2: Map data. | 
| Mapping | Opens the Field Mapping dialog box. For details, see Step 2: Map data. | 
| Validate | Validates your Excel data. For details, see Step 3: Validate data. | 
| Upload to ALM | Uploads your data to the project that you are logged in to. | 
| Help | Opens the help document of this add-in. |
