Reset your password

When logging in to Web Client, if you cannot remember your password, you can reset it and create a new one.

To reset your password:

  1. In the login window, click the Forgot My Password link. The Forgot My Password dialog box opens.

    Note: The Forgot My Password link is unavailable in either of the following situations:

  2. In the Forgot My Password dialog box, specify the following information and click OK.

    Field Description
    Login Name

    Enter your login username.

    E-mail Address

    Enter your email address that receives the password reset message.

    Enter the text below Enter the text displayed in the image under the field.
  3. In the received email, click the Reset your password link to set a new password.

    Note: Click password reset link before it expires. Otherwise, you must click the Forgot Password link again to request a new link.

    Available for 25.1 P1 and later: You do not have to enter your username when resetting your password. It's automatically filled in and read-only.

  4. After you set a new password, the login window opens, enabling you to log in using your new password.

    Note: As site admin, you can use the FROM_EMAIL_ADDRESS parameter to change the email address that sends the password. For details, see Set parameters at site level.
