What's New in 25.1 - 25.2
This section describes the enhancements implemented in Connect 25.1-25.2.
What's new in 25.1
The following usability enhancements are available in this version.
Feature | Description |
---|---|
Disable caching |
You can now disable caching of items between iterations to increase scalability at the price of performance. By default, items discovered during each synchronization run are cached between iterations. This enables iterations to run faster, but requires a varying amount of memory. If you find that Connect is taking an excessive amount of RAM, you can disable caching of items between iterations. For details, see Disable caching between iterations. |
Execution order of calculated values |
You can now set the execution order of calculated values to ensure that they run in a specific sequence. For details, see Set execution order. |
Multi-value mapping |
When mapping a multi-value field to a single-value field, you can use CSV conversion to merge multiple values into a single value, and to split a single value to multiple values. For details, see Map multi-value to single-value fields. |
Improved navigation and search |
You can now navigate and search the Users grid and User Maps grid to locate specific items more efficiently. For details, see Navigate and search the Users grid and Navigate and search the User Maps grid. |
What's new in 25.2
The following usability enhancements are available in this version.
Feature | Description |
---|---|
Migration to PostgreSQL database |
Connect now exclusively supports only PostgreSQL as the database. Derby is officially deprecated. Database installation, upgrade, and management are the responsibility of the Connect administrator. For details, see PostgreSQL database. |
Audit report improvements | You can now export audit reports in JSON format, as well as view audit report data in a new window. This helps you search and navigate audit data more easily. For details, see Audits. |
