Now you can perform the following tasks by using a single step in an application process:

• Install Multiple Components step
• Uninstall Multiple Components step
• Roll Back Multiple Components step

This step enables you run a preconfigured component process that doesn't use versions.

Fine-tune how to clear your deployment history and what data to remove. You can schedule a one-time cleanup or run a series of regular cleanups.

Use dynamic conditions to select applications and environments for the cleanup, based on custom rules.

Note: Starting from this version, execution history is renamed to deployment history.

You can now exclude applications from a global environment blackout. When setting the blackout, provide a list of application exceptions.

For improved security, Deployment Automation agents now use Groovy version 3.0.0.

Note: Plugins from earlier DA versions may not run on agents 6.3.3. Make sure to upgrade your plugins to the latest version.

The plugins import strategies define the conditions for upgrading plugins during replication import. You can now choose how to import plugins:

• Upgrade all plugins. During import, upgrade plugins to Groovy 3.0.0.
• Fail import for old Groovy version. Import only the latest plugin versions that use Groovy 3.0.0, and fail import for plugins with an old Groovy version.
• Import ignoring old Groovy version. Import plugins as is.

Use the Kubernetes CLI plugin to manage resources in your Kubernetes cloud environment. The plugin requires the Kubernetes command-line tool, kubectl.

Use the Kubernetes REST plugin to work with Kubernetes resources, copy files from or to a pod, and run a command in a pod.

Deployment Automation now supports Artifactory virtual repositories as an artifact source for your components.

To get versions from an Artifactory virtual repository, use the Download Artifacts step of the DA VFS plugin.

When you create an export file, you can now include custom source configuration types used in exported components and component templates.

Deployment Automation now runs background jobs to recalculate process requests submitted before the upgrade to version 6.3.3. This enables Deployment Automation to speed up the opening and processing of timelines and deployment history.

You can adjust the timeframe for running background jobs, for example, to restrict the jobs to run at a low or no activity time.

The calendar view in Deployment, Administration, and Environment Timelines is updated to provide a more concise summary of events and more precise filtering options.

The Online Users list has a new Permission Status column that indicates whether all security changes affecting the Deployment and Environment timelines have been applied to the user.

To check a user's permission status, navigate to Administration > Security and select the Online Users tab.
