Plugin enhancements

The following plugins are enhanced in this release:

AmazonEC2
  • All AmazonEC2 plugin steps can now assume the Identity and Access Management (IAM) role to authenticate to EC2 instances.

  • Manage Tags. Use this new step to attach, modify, or remove tags for Amazon EC2 instances.

  • Launch Instances. When launching EC2 instances, you can now add tags to them. Also, you can use an instance profile to pass an IAM role to launched instances.

For details, see AmazonEC2 plugin.

ChangeMan ZMF

When using the Audit step, you can now set the polling timeout and interval. The timeout defines how long the system waits for the audit to complete.

For details, see Audit step.

Fixed issues

The following issues were resolved in this release:

ID Summary
OCTD42M449092 Oracle WebLogic WLDeploy plugin: The Run WLDeploy step no longer fails if the agent and WebLogic server are on different machines and the Source to Deploy property points to the source on the agent.
OCTD42M458040 Resource blackouts: The verification of a resource blackout is now more precise. If an application environment has blacked out resources, this no longer prevents an application process from running unless the process uses components mapped to the blacked out resources.
OCTD42M439024 Creating a component from a template: In the Template Version list, different versions are no longer displayed with the same date and time.
