Oracle Business Intelligence plugin
The Oracle Business Intelligence plugin enables you to work with Oracle Business Intelligence services as part of your Deployment Automation processes.
Before you begin
Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation Suite is a solution for enterprise business intelligence needs, such as reporting, ad hoc queries, OLAP, dashboards, scorecards, and what-if analysis.
To use the Oracle Business Intelligence plugin, complete the following prerequisite tasks:

Verify that your Deployment Automation user role allows you to manage plugins. For details, see Server roles and system security.
- Download the Deployment Automation plugin bundle, extract the Oracle Business Intelligence plugin zip file from the bundle, and load the file into Deployment Automation. For details, see Load and upgrade plugins.
To use the plugin steps, open a component or global process and navigate to Integration > Oracle > Business Intelligence in the Tools pane.

Create Parent Folder step
This step creates an Oracle BI Presentation Catalog.
Required properties:

Specify the service URL in the following format: http://server:port/ or http://server:port/analytics/saw.dll |
| User Name | Specify the username for authentication. |
| Path | Specify the location in the catalog where to create the folder, including the name of the new folder. |
Optional properties:

| Password | Specify the password for the user. |
| Create Intermediate Folders | Select this option to create intermediate directories. |
Delete Parent Folder step
This step deletes a folder and its contents from the Oracle BI Presentation Catalog.
Required properties:

Specify the service URL in the following format: http://server:port/ or http://server:port/analytics/saw.dll |
| User Name | Specify the username for authentication. |
| Path | Specify the location in the catalog where to delete the folder, including the name of the folder to delete. |
Optional:

| Password | Specify the password for the user. |
| Recursive | Select this if the folder is not empty and its content should also be removed. |
Unarchive Folder step
This step uploads and extracts an archive into the Oracle BI Presentation Catalog.
Required properties:

| Password | Specify the password for the user. |
| Folder | Specify the folder in the catalog into which to unarchive. |
| Input File | Specify the path to the archive to be uploaded into Oracle BI. |
