Step 8: Map a component to an agent

Prerequisite: Step 7: Add an environment to an application

This step explains how to map the helloWorld component to an environment resource on the agent machine designated to run the component process.

To map the helloWorld component to an agent:

1. Under the DA_01 environment, select the Component Mapping tab.

2. Click Actions and then select Add a Resource. The Add a Resource dialog box opens.

3. Select the agent associated with the DA_01 environment.

4. Click Add. The agent is now displayed in the list of environment resources.
