Run component processes
This topic explains how to run a component process directly.
You can also initiate a component process as part of an application or deployment package process.
Before you can run a component process, you identify the application you want to use for the process, and map specific environment resources to components within that application. For more about deployment, see Run deployment processes.
To run a component process directly:

Navigate to Management > Applications > [select application].

Select the Components tab.

In the component's row, click the Run Component Process icon to run a process.

Select an environment to which you want to deploy.

Select a resource to use.

Select the process to run.

Select other options.

Click Submit.
When a process starts, the Request page is displayed so that you can review the process request progress. After the request completes, you can review the results on that and other related pages. See Analyze deployments.
Note: If gate conditions are defined for a target environment, the component version is deployed into that environment only if its status meets those conditions. See Create gates.
