What's new in OpenText Core SDP Functional Testing Lab

This topic covers the new lab capabilities available in the 26.1 release.

Cloud browsers - macOS support (public beta)

You can now also run your tests on OpenText Functional Testing Lab cloud-based desktop browsers running on macOS. Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Edge browsers are supported on macOS. Cloud browsers enable you to increase test coverage and test on a variety of browsers and versions concurrently, without having to maintain machines with browsers. For more details, see Browser lab.

Revamped user experience

A refreshed user interface provides a smoother and more consistent experience, improving the overall look and feel.

Improved navigation and filters

Menus and tabs at the top of the screen have moved. Navigation is now in a left panel, and filters are in a right-side panel, creating a clearer layout. Both panels can be collapsed to provide more space.

Android auto-dismiss alerts

A new admin setting allows automatic dismissal of system alerts on Android devices when they are idle. This setting was previously only available on iOS. For details, see Administration settings.

License quota allocation

Allocate license quota to ensure workspaces have adequate license capacity. For example, allocate more capacity to a workspace during peak testing or limit usage to prevent excessive consumption. For details, see License installation and management.
