Project/Stream Preferences dialog box

Use this dialog box to set the default preferences for your current project or stream.

General tab

Work Area

Enter the pathname to a folder in your work area or the name of a managed work area, or click the Browse button to select a folder/directory.

If the folder/directory is on your local computer, enter a full pathname. For example, to use the payroll folder on the C: drive of a Windows computer, type c:\payroll.

If the folder/directory is on a remote node, begin the pathname with the node name followed by two semicolons (::). For example, to use the payroll directory on the UNIX node HOST1, enter the pathname HOST1::/payroll.

Default Request

Enter a request ID or use the browse button and complete the Find dialog box to select it.

 

Default design Part

Enter the default owning design part to be used for new items created in this project/stream, or use the browse button to select it.

 

Default Branch

Select a branch to be used as the default branch for new item revisions that you create in this project/stream.

This is not applicable to streams.

Library Cache Area

Select a library cache area from the list.

This selection is only available if one or more library cache areas have been defined for your project/stream in the Administration Console.

Make this configuration my default

Select this option if you want to set the selections in this dialog box as your default for this project/stream.

 

Stream Access tab

Topic streams only: you can share a topic stream with other users and change its ownership. For example, you are switching to a different task and want to delegate the changes in a topic stream to another user.

Add or remove users and groups.
