New Revised Baseline dialog box

Use this dialog box to create a new baseline by revising an existing baseline based on related requests.

On the General tab, identify the baseline and list the requests.

Field	Description	Rules and guidelines
Baseline ID	The specification of the selected baseline.
New Baseline ID	Enter a unique name or label for the baseline.	This name must be unique within the product. Maximum length is 128 characters. Must not contain these characters: - / “ :
Type	Select a baseline type.	The baseline types are defined in the Administration Console. If user-defined attributes exist for the selected type, use the Attributes tab to view and change them. For details, see Attributes tab/page.
Requests to Update	The list of requests used to update the baseline. Enter one or more requests, or click the Browse button and use the Select Request wizard.	See Revise and merge baselines for details of how the requests are processed. Use commas to separate requests IDs in the list. Request have the following format: productID_changedocType_ number You can select a maximum of 496 requests.
Requests to Remove	The list of requests used to remove item revisions from the baseline. Enter one or more requests, or click the Browse button and use the Select Request wizard.	See Revise and merge baselines for details of how the requests are processed. Use commas to separate requests IDs in the list. Request have the following format: productID_changedocType_ number
Traverse Relationships	Select to include item revisions in all requests related to the listed requests.
Project	Select the project on which to base the baseline.	The default is the current project.
Filter	Enter a filter string to reduce the number of items displayed in the Project list.
