Edit design parts

You can change the ID, description, and user-defined attributes of existing design parts.

PRIVILEGES: Update Design Part.

To edit a design part:

1. In the web client, open the Requests view.

2. In the navigation pane, expand the design part tree and select a design part to edit.

3. On the toolbar, select Manage Parts > Edit. The Edit Design Part dialog box opens.

4. On the General tab, change the part's ID and description as needed.

5. To update custom attributes, select the Attributes tab and modify the user-defined attributes as needed.

6. Click OK.
