Change graph granularity
You can make the graphs easier to read and analyze by changing the granularity (scale) of the x-axis. The maximum granularity is half of the graph's time range. To ensure readability and clarity, the minimum granularity is automatically adjusted for graphs with ranges of 500 seconds or more.
To change the granularity:
-
Click within the graph and select Set Granularity from the right-click menu (or Ctrl+G).
-
In the Granularity dialog box, select a value and time unit for the selected graph.
-
To apply this setting to all graphs, select the Reduce for all graphs option. This operation may use a lot of memory and take some time be applied.
Understanding Granularity
Granularity lets you see a more detailed view of the results. The lower the granularity, the more detailed the results. It is useful to use a higher granularity to study the overall Vuser behavior throughout the scenario.
In the following example, the Average Transaction Response Time graph shows the response time with a granularity of 1,3, and 5 minutes. For a granularity of 5 minutes, the y-axis shows the elapsed time for every five minute period of the scenario.
In the next example, the graph shows the response time with a granularity of 3 minutes.
In the final example, the graph shows the response time with a granularity of 5 minutes.
