Average Throughput graph

This graph shows the average data traffic passing to or from the virtualized location, measured in kilobytes per second (kBps).

Purpose

Helps you evaluate the amount of load Vusers generate, in terms of the number of server and client throughput. The graph shows metrics for input and output traffic for both the server and client machines. Use the legend below the graph to determine the line color for each metric.

X-axis Elapsed time since the start of the run.
Y-axis

The rate of data passing to and from the virtual location, in bps for the following metrics per group or load generator:

  • Input to the client machine
  • Output from the client machine
  • Input to the server machine
  • Output from the server machine
Note You cannot change the granularity of the x-axis to a value that is less than the web granularity you defined in the General tab of the Options dialog box.
Tips

For Analysis (not applicable to monitoring graphs):

To view information for a specific location:

  1. Click within the graph.
  2. Select Set Filter/ Sort By from the right-click menu to open the Graph Settings dialog box.
  3. In the Filter condition section, select the Location Name row, and select the relevant location from the drop-down list.

Example

In the following example, the average server input throughput was the lowest for the Ukraine group.

If you enabled Network Virtualization per load generator (and not per group), the graph shows the measurements per load generator, as shown in the Packet Loss graph.
