What's New - LoadRunner Cloud 2021.08
The following features were introduced or enhanced in LoadRunner Cloud version 2021.08.
What's New video
Watch the What's New video:
Customize capacity for cloud LGs
You can now customize the maximum number of Vusers that can run on a single cloud load generator. This capability lets you set the capacity for cloud load generators for each protocol type.
Admins can enable or disable this capability per project, in the Project Management area.
For details, see Cloud LG infrastructure capacity.
New locations for cloud load generators
The following locations were added for cloud load generators:
Vendor | Location | Region / Zone |
---|---|---|
AWS | Milan | Europe |
GCP | Tokyo | Asia Northeast |
For a complete list of the distribution locations, see Vuser distribution locations.
Dedicated IPs in Run Preview window
The Run Preview window now shows the number of dedicated IPs required for your test.
For details, see Dedicated IPs for load generators tab.
Support for Gatling 3.6.0
LoadRunner Cloud now supports Gatling version 3.6.0.
For more details, see the Support Matrix.
Share Git agent between projects
You can now share a Git agent configuration with other projects in your tenant.
For details, see Install the LoadRunner Cloud Git agent.
Enhanced Splunk integration
Splunk integration was enhanced, no longer requiring you to mark a managed Splunk account. When you configure Splunk via LoadRunner Cloud, it sends a validation message to the Splunk account.
For more details, see Data streaming.
Script name prefixes
You can now add a prefix to your script names. The prefix lets you run multiple instances of the same script in your tests, and list their results separately.
For details, see Set prefix.
Ability to distribute Vusers evenly over OPLGs
Before running your test, you can automatically distribute Vusers evenly over on-premises load generators. The Distribute Evenly button assigns an equal number of Vusers to all on-premises load generators participating in the test.
For details, see Configure on-premises load generator locations.
Client-side TruClient metrics
For TruClient , the dashboard's metrics now include client-side experience measurements. The measurements include:
-
DOM interactive event
-
DOM content loaded event duration
-
Page load event duration
For details, see Client-side measurements.
Improved TPS graph display
You can now show Transaction per Second graphs for each script or test.
For details, see Choose metrics.
Health monitoring for on-premises load generators
On-premises load generator monitoring is now displayed under the LG health monitoring node in both the dashboard and report. The metrics include CPU, disk space, and memory usage.
For details, see Load generator health monitoring.
New public API operation
New capabilities were added to the LoadRunner Cloud public API. You can now retrieve the transaction response time summary during runtime using the public API call, trt-summary.
For details, see Public API.
Enhancement for SLA status
You can configure SLAs to set a Failed status based on Vusers. If one or more Vusers fail, LoadRunner Cloud will mark the test as Failed. To enable this option, open a support ticket.
For details, see Configure SLAs.
