Tenants
The Tenant area in Tenant management enables admins to set the tenant time zone and configure virtual user (VU) limits per test.
Tenant tab
To set tenant properties, select Settings
> Tenant management. On the Navigation menu
, click Tenant.
The General section contains tenant properties, including the time zone and virtual user (VU) limits. The time zone determines how dates and times are displayed in exported PDF and Word reports. The Virtual user section enables tenant administrators to limit the maximum number of VUs users can run per test.
Specify a time zone
To specify a time zone, expand the Time zone for exported reports list and select a time zone. The selected time zone is used in the timestamp of the following reports:
-
Results.csv
-
Errors
-
Raw transactions
-
License usage/consumption.
The deviation from GMT appears in parentheses after the timestamp. For example, a timestamp of 2021-03-08T02:58:34:412 (-5:00) indicates a time zone that is 5 hours behind GMT.
Configure virtual user limits
Tenant administrators can configure the maximum number of virtual users (VUs) allowed per test for each bundle. This protects your tenant from unintended high-scale test runs and unexpected costs.
VU limits are configurable for Web, GUI, and Dev bundles. The default limits are:
-
Web: 500,000 VUs
-
GUI: 3,000 VUs
-
Dev: 500,000 VUs
VU limits apply to tests with a 5-second aggregation interval or higher. To configure a higher limit than the maximum available range, submit a service request.
When a user runs a test that exceeds the configured VU limit, a message is displayed explaining that the limit is set by the tenant administrator.
