View the Home Page

This section describes the Home Page in which you can view and manage your performance test runs or all test runs. The page also displays a list of your last modified entities, and the resources in use.

Open the Home Page

Click the Navigation menu and select Home Page.

You can also open the home page from any module by clicking the Home icon in the breadcrumb.

View and manage test run activity

Use the following actions to view and manage runs displayed in the Home Page.

Action Description

Filter displayed runs

Use the My Runs switch to change which test runs are shown.

  • Turn on the switch to display only test runs associated with your user account.

  • Turn off the switch to display test runs for all users in the project.

View running tests

The Running section displays the currently running tests for all users of the project.

  • Click the View Run Dashboard button or the Run ID link to display a detailed overview of the running performance test and perform all runtime test run actions. For details, see Run Dashboard.

  • Click the Test Name link to display the test in the Performance Test Designer.

View scheduled tests

The Scheduled section displays the tests that are scheduled to run.

View and manage test results

The Finished section displays the most recent test runs. Available actions depend on the run’s status, which is determined by the post-run action. For details, see Post Run Action.

In all cases, you can click the Run Dashboard button to view offline performance metrics and monitored resource data. For details, see View test run results offline.

Additional actions based on status:

  • Before Collating Results: Click Collate to process results for test runs that have not yet been collated.

  • Before Creating Analysis Data: Click Analyze to generate analysis data for the selected run.

  • Finished: Click the HTML Report button to open the Analysis Summary report and review the collected performance data.

View modified test entities

The Last Modified Entities pane enables you to keep track of changes to performance testing entities. To view details of a modified entry, click the Name link to display the test in the Performance Test Designer.

The following icons indicate the entities that were modified.

The latest modified entries for all project users are displayed by default. To show only your modified entries, turn the My Entities switch on.

Track host and project resource usage

The Hosts / Project pane enables you to keep track of the testing hosts and project resources in use.

Action Description
View testing hosts

Click Hosts to view the following testing host details:

  • Operational, Non Operational, Unavailable. The number of testing hosts grouped by status.

  • Running, Idle. The number testing hosts grouped by state.

  • Cloud LGs. The number of load generators provisioned from a cloud provider.

View project resources

Click Project to view the following project settings:

  • Concurrent Runs Limit. The maximum number of concurrent test runs allowed within a project.

  • Hosts Limit. The total number of hosts (Controller + load generators) reserved for a timeslot may not exceed this limit.

  • VUFDs Limit. The maximum number of Virtual User Flex Days (VUFDs) a project can run at once. The total number used by all of the project's concurrent performance tests must not exceed this limit.

  • Vusers Limit. The maximum number of Vusers available to the project.

  • Last Run. The date of the last test run in the project.
