Our help centers provide you with comprehensive user assistance.

We recommend that you use the online versions of the help centers for the most recent updates available. If your organization has firewall restrictions that prevent you from using the online versions, you can save the help center files locally on your LoadRunner Enterprise machine.

Note: To view the Help Center in Internet Explorer, you need to enable Javascript (Active scripting) in your browser settings (Tools > Options > Security > Internet > Custom Level).

Access your local LoadRunner Enterprise help (for 2020 SP1)

The ability to switch to local mode and use context-sensitive help is supported in LoadRunner Enterprise 2020 SP1.

  1. Download and extract the LoadRunner-Enterprise-Help-2020.1.zip file to the following locations on your LoadRunner Enterprise server:

    For LoadRunner Enterprise <LRE Server installation directory>\PCWEB

    For LoadRunner Enterprise Administration

    		<LRE Server installation directory>\PCWEB_Admin

  2. Navigate to the web.config file in the following locations on your LoadRunner Enterprise server, and change the IsUseLocalHelp key to "true":

    For LoadRunner Enterprise <LRE Server installation directory>\PCWEB\Web.config

    For LoadRunner Enterprise Administration

    		 <LRE Server installation directory>\PCWEB_Admin\Web.config

  3. From the LoadRunner Enterprise or LoadRunner Enterprise Administration navigation bar, click and select Help Center to call context-sensitive topics in the Help Center.

Access your local LoadRunner Enterprise help (for 2020)

The ability to switch to local mode and use context-sensitive help is not supported in LoadRunner Enterprise 2020. However, you can manually access the help files locally on your machine.

  1. Download and extract the LoadRunner-Enterprise-Help-2020.zip file to the following locations on your LoadRunner Enterprise server:

    For LoadRunner Enterprise <LRE Server installation directory>\PCWEB

    For LoadRunner Enterprise Administration

    		 <LRE Server installation directory>\PCWEB_Admin

  2. Extract the contents of the zip file.

  3. You can open the help files from the paths listed below:

    Help Center \Doc\doc_library\online_help\pchelp.htm
    Installation Guide \Doc\doc_library\pdfs\PC_Install.pdf
    Quick Start Guide \Doc\doc_library\pdfs\quick_start.pdf
    REST APIs
