Transaction monitor graphs

This section describes the Transaction monitor graphs that are available during a test run.

Transaction monitor graphs overview

The Transaction monitor graphs display the transaction rate and response time during a test run. The Transaction monitor graphs are enabled by default, and they automatically begins monitoring Vuser transactions at the start of a test run. To conserve resources, you can deactivate the Transaction monitor from the Controller.

Note:

  • If there are no transactions defined in your Vuser script or if no transactions are being run, no data is displayed in the online monitor graphs.

  • To generate Web Page diagnostics for each transaction, enable Web Page Diagnostics in the Test Options. For details, see Enable Web Page Diagnostics.

Transaction Response Time graphs

You can view the following Transaction monitor graphs during a test run:

Graph Description
Transaction Response Time Shows the average response time of transactions in seconds (y-axis) as a function of the elapsed time in the performance test (x-axis).
Transactions per Second (Passed) Shows the number of successful transactions performed per second (y-axis) as a function of the elapsed time in the performance test (x-axis).
Transactions per Second (Failed, Stopped) Shows the number of failed and stopped transactions per second (y-axis) as a function of the elapsed time in the performance test (x-axis).
Total Transactions per Second (Passed) Shows the total number of completed, successful transactions per second (y-axis) as a function of the elapsed time in the performance test (x-axis).
