This section explains how to log in to OpenText Enterprise Performance Engineering, and use it for running your day-to-day performance testing activities.
Log in
This section describes how to log in to OpenText Enterprise Performance Engineering.

Open your web browser and type the server URL in the following format:
http://<server_name>/loadtest
The Login window opens.
Note:

Contact your system administrator if you do not have the correct URL.

If your system was configured with external authentication (SSO), you are redirected to the select domain and project window. For details, see SSO authentication.

If more than one server is installed in your system together with a load balancer, access the machine by entering the load balancer's URL. Alternatively, you can also enter the server's defined internal URL.

When SSL is terminated on a load balancer, you may need to set the secure flags on session cookies. For details, see Install.

Enter the user name and password assigned to you by your site administrator and click Authenticate.
If you are logging in using your internal password, you can reset the password by clicking Forgot or want to change password (not available when using LDAP or SSO authentication).

In the Domain and Project window, select a domain and project. The window shows the last domain and project accessed by the current user.
Note: The system administrator can control user access to projects by defining user roles, and by indicating the types of tasks each user role can perform according to permission levels. For details, see Assign project roles and permissions to users.

Select the language for the user interface.
The multilingual user interface, or MLU, provides support for multiple languages on a single instance of OpenText Enterprise Performance Engineering without having to install language packs.

Click the Sign in button.
Change project without logging out
You can change projects without logging out.

In the navigation toolbar, click the <Domain>\<Project> name.

Select a domain and project and click OK. The visible domains and projects are determined by your access rights.
Change your password
This section describes how to change your password.

In the navigation toolbar, click the User options button
and select Change Password.
Note: This is not available when using LDAP or SSO authentication.

Enter your current password. If you do not remember your current password, ask your site administrator to change it for you.

Enter a new password, confirm it, and then click Change.
Note: The password must conform to the password policy defined by the site administrator. For details, see Set the password policy.
