You can enable or disable the AI analytics for specific workspaces in a shared space.
When AI analytics is enabled, data pipelines implemented with AWS and other internal services, extract the data from an ALM Octane workspace, transform, and load the data.
All the ALM Octane data remains in the internal network. Only the data from workspaces where the AI analytics is enabled is uploaded to a dedicated service for analysis.
Initial operations on workspace data may take several days after the AI analytics is enabled for the respective workspace. It means that the widget AI insights will be available only when the data is fully uploaded for analysis.
Workspace data is extracted from ALM Octane periodically. It means that new workspace data, as well as any changes or updates to ALM Octane items, will not be available for analysis immediately.
To enable or disable the AI analytics:
- In ALM Octane, click Settings > Spaces, and select the shared space where you want to enable the AI analytics.
Open the Defaults tab, and in the left pane, select AI Analytics.
Select the scope where you want to enable or disable the AI analytics:
- To include or exclude certain workspaces from the scope, in the Workspaces field, select the necessary workspaces and click OK.
