Start the ALM Octane server manually

If you need to start the ALM Octane server manually, perform the following.

To start (or restart) the ALM Octane server:

  • Log in as the root user and run the octane service: 

    systemctl start octane

    The service runs in the background.

To follow the server's boot process:

  • Run: 

    tail -f /opt/octane/log/wrapper.log

To start (or restart) ALM Octane in a cluster configuration:

All nodes must be restarted.
