Limitations
This topic lists the limitations for the current version.
Note: For known issues, see the Support matrix.
Streaming limits
The list below details the streaming limits. If any of these limits is reached during a test run, data streaming is stopped. However, the test may continue to run on the original load testing platform.
In all the following cases, except for the maximum concurrent run limitation, the test run is available on the Runs page, with a Phase of Halted. All the result data is saved up until the time that the limit was breached.
Limit | Description |
---|---|
Maximum concurrent runs |
Streaming is limited to 5 concurrent runs. An attempt to stream the 6th run will fail: The test run will not exist in OpentText Core Performance Engineering Analysis. However, the test will still run in the OpenText Performance Engineering tool. |
Maximum duration |
The test run is halted after 24 hours, and no additional metrics are streamed. |
Maximum data points |
The threshold for the number of unique data points across all scripts combined is 20 million. |
Maximum errors |
The threshold for the number of errors across all scripts combined is 15,000. |
Maximum transactions |
The threshold for the number of transactions across all scripts combined is 4.5 million. |
Maximum unique transactions |
The threshold for the number of unique transactions across all scripts combined is 1,000. If the same transaction name repeats in several scripts or groups, it is counted only once. |
Maximum monitors |
The threshold for the number of monitor measurements is 20 million. |
Dashboard limits
The table below details the dashboard limits.
Limit | Description |
---|---|
Tabs |
The maximum number of tabs that you can open per test run is 10. |
Widgets |
On each tab you can have up to 10 widgets. |
Metrics |
Each widget can contain up to 5 different metrics. |
Measurements in dashboard view |
When viewing the data in dashboard mode, each widget can contain up to 200 measurements. |
Measurements in enlarged view |
When enlarging a widget, up to 500 measurements can be displayed. |
Note: If the set of configured measurements exceeds the limit in either the dashboard view or the enlarged view, an error message is displayed, and no measurements are shown in the graph or the grid. To view the data, reduce the number of measurements by clearing metrics or modifying the filters.
Upload test run limits
The table below details the limits for uploading test runs.
Limit | Description |
---|---|
File format |
Only ZIP files can be uploaded. |
File size |
Each file cannot exceed 500 MB. |
Synchronous operation |
Do not close the browser tab until the upload is finished. The upload can take up to 30 minutes, depending on the file size. |
