Monitor Insights

This topic describes how to use Monitor Insights to get a deeper understanding of monitors and metrics in your performance and load tests.

Monitor Insights Overview

Monitor Insights provide detailed information and insights on the monitors and metrics in a run perform. You can add monitor and metric widgets to gather data about your servers during a performance test run.

Add Monitor Insights

Select a run to analyze as described in Analyze a test run. The summary graphs page opens, displaying a summary of all transactions and HTTP responses in the run.
Select Smart Analysis > Monitor Insights.
In the Monitor Insights page, select the Monitor Insights tab and click Add Widget.
In the Add Monitor Insights Widget dialog box, select a monitor type, a monitor name, and the monitors based on the selected monitor types that you want to view.
Click Add to add the widget to the Monitor Insights page.

You can view details of the selected monitors in the Monitor Insights tab.

Add Metric Insights

Select a run to analyze as described in Analyze a test run. The summary graphs page opens, displaying a summary of all transactions and HTTP responses in the run.
Select Smart Analysis > Monitor Insights.
In the Monitor Insights page, select the Metric Insights tab and click Add Widget.
In the Add Metric Insights Widget dialog box, select a metric type, a monitor type, and the monitors based on the selected monitor and metric types that you want to view.
Click Add to add the widget to the Monitor Insights page.

You can view details of the selected monitors and metrics in Metric Insights tab.
