System resources graphs

A primary factor in a transaction's response time is its system resource usage. Using system resource monitors, you can monitor the resources on a machine during a scenario run, and determine why a bottleneck occurred on a particular machine. System resources metrics require that you specify the resources you want to measure before running the scenario.

Host resources

The Host resources metric displays a summary of the system resources usage for each host (Controller and load generators) measured during the load test

Axis Details
X-axis

Elapsed time since the start of the run.

Y-axis

The usage of resources on the Windows hosts.

Note: Controller is relevant for OpenText Enterprise Performance Engineering and OpenText Professional Performance Engineering only. OpenText Core Performance Engineering can use this metric with either cloud or on-premises load generators.

SiteScope

If your test has been configured to use a SiteScope monitor, you can view the SiteScope resources measured during the run. This can help you to determine why a bottleneck occurred on a machine.

Windows resources

This graph shows the Windows resources measured during the load test. The Windows measurements correspond to the built-in counters available from the Windows Performance Monitor.

To obtain data for this graph, select the measurements for the online monitor before running the load test.
