Convert NUnit, JUnit, or Selenium tests to VuGen scripts

This topic describes how to convert NUnit, JUnit, or Selenium tests to VuGen Scripts. It also includes a workflow that describes how to run a LeanFT test in Performance Center.

Prerequisites for converting NUnit, JUnit, or Selenium tests

Before converting a NUnit, JUnit, or Selenium test to a to VuGen script, perform the following:

  • Configure the load generator machine the same way as the machine that is used to record or prepare the script or test.

  • For NUnit tests:

    • Convert a NUnit test using VuGen Script Convertor. Make sure that NUnit framework is installed on the running VuGen Script Convertor (available from Download Applications in the Performance Center navigation toolbar).

    • NUnit framework needs to be installed on the Controller and load generator machines.

    • When building the NUnit solution in Visual Studio, make sure you use the same NUnit framework as the one installed on the Controller and load generator machines.

  • Java scripts and JUnit tests: Verify that test dependencies are available on the load generator machine with the same paths defined in the classpath Run-Time settings.
