Set request type as roadmap type

A default roadmap type Portfolio is provided for use. APM administrators can also create customized roadmap types in the PPM Workbench by setting a request type as the roadmap type.

To set a request type as the roadmap type:

  1. Log on to PPM.
  2. From the menu, select Open > Administration > Open Workbench.

    The PPM Workbench opens.

  3. From the shortcut bar, select Demand Mgmt > Request Types.

    The Request Type Workbench window opens.

  4. Click List and then select the request type you want to set as the roadmap type.

    The Request Type window opens to the Fields tab.

  5. Click New.

    The Field: New window opens to the Attributes tab.

  6. In the Token field, type ROADMAP_TYPE.
  7. Fill in the mandatory fields.
  8. Provide values for the other fields as you desire.

  9. Click Add or OK.
