Adding Tasks as Package References

You can add existing tasks as references to packages.

To reference an existing task:

  1. Log on to PPM.

  2. From the menu bar, select Open > Administration > Open Workbench.

    The PPM Workbench opens.

  3. From the shortcut bar, select Deployment Mgmt > Packages.

    The Package Workbench opens.

  4. Open the package to which you want to add a reference.

  5. From the New Reference list, select Task, and then click Add.

    The New Reference - Task window opens.

  6. To specify a task in the Task Name field, use the auto-complete list.

  7. Under Select the Relationship that the selected task has to Package <Package Number>, select the option that describes how the task is related to the package, and then click OK.

    In the Package window, the References tab lists the task.

  8. Click Save to save the package.
