Load Balancing

If more than one node supports user traffic within a PPM instance, the incoming PPM requests must be load-balanced across the nodes using one of the following methods:

• Software Load Balancing using the Tomcat connector running with a PPM compatible external Web server

• Hardware Load Balancing using a physical hardware load balancer

You can configure load balancing and server failover features to realize performance gains and improve application availability.
