Background Services Monitor

You can use the PPM background services monitor to isolate performance issues related to background services execution. You control this monitor using two server configuration parameters: the ENABLE_BACKGROUND_SERVICE_MONITOR turns the monitor on (the default), and the BACKGROUND_SERVICE_MONITOR_THRESHOLD parameter controls its threshold value (in milliseconds). If the runtime of a background service exceeds the threshold value, this is recorded in the thresholdLog.txt file.
