Executing Request Type Commands
Certain process steps require that specific commands be executed. Commands can be added to each request type and the workflow can be configured to execute request type commands at a specific step in the process. Each step runs its own commands to ensure the correct execution for that request type.
The execution workflow step source Execute Request Commands performs this task. Use this step source unless it does not meet the required specifications, such as validation or processing type.
To create the execution step source, make a copy of execution workflow step source Execute Request Commands and change the field values as shown in Table 7-1. Execution window values to execute request type commands.

Finish execution before displaying the request type page to user: if you select this option, the step completes the execution before reloading the request page for the user (enabling them to make further changes).
Note: This option does not work for request creation. It only works when end users click a workflow action button.
-
Display the request page immediately while execution is still running: if you select this option, the request page reloads immediately while the execution is still in progress.
Note: The request status on the request page may be incorrect if you select this option.
