Configure existing project types

1. Select a project type associated request type.

   1. Log on to OpenText PPM.

   2. Click the Administration button in the masthead.

   3. From the Administration menu, select Project Management >Manage Project Types.

   4. Select and click a desired project type from the list.

      The Manage Project Type: <Project Type Name> page opens.

   5. Click the Request Types policy tab.

      The Request Types policy page opens.

   6. Note down the value displayed in the Project Process Request Type field. For example, Project Details.

2. Add the QC/ALM Release Information field group to the request header type associated with the request type.

   1. From the Administration menu, select Workbench > Open Workbench on Desktop (or Open Workbench App).

   2. From the workbench shortcut bar, select Demand Mgmt > Request Types.

   3. In the Request Type field, type the request type you noted down in step 1.e of Creating New Project Types and click List. For example, type Project Details.

   4. Open the request type displayed on the Results tab. For example, open the Project Details request type.

      The Request Type : <Request Type Name> dialog opens.

   5. Click Open for the Request Header Type field.

      The Request Header Type dialog opens.

   6. Click Field Groups.

      The Field Groups dialog opens.

   7. Select the checkbox for the QC/ALM Release Information field group, and click OK.

      The QC/ALM Release Information field group is added to the request header type.

   8. Click OK.
