Create and configure program types

A program type provides a way to manage sets of programs. Using the portfolio type, you can configure settings and apply business rules to all programs of that type.

Program Details is the out-of-the-box program process request type.

Example: If you select Program Details as the program process request type, the Program Details tab displays the fields specified by the Program Details request type, and the programs of this program type go through the workflow of the Program Details request type.

Select Yes to enabled the program type. When a program type is enables, it can be selected to create a program.
