Troubleshooting

Microsoft Project supports many features that are not duplicated in or synchronized with Project Management. When a Microsoft Project file is imported into Project Management, this information is not represented. Sending a Microsoft Project file to Project Management does not remove this data from Microsoft Project. Opening a Project Management work plan in Microsoft Project does not create or default this data.

Other Microsoft Project features deal with the scheduling and tracking information that is synchronized between the two applications. In these cases, the interface converts the Microsoft Project data into information that Project Management can represent. The interface attempts to maintain the intent of the original work plan as closely as possible.
