Configure access to staffing profile
Access to a staffing profile is primarily controlled through access grants defined in the security group. In addition, the creator of a staffing profile can specify a list of users with permissions to view, edit basic information, edit lines, or edit security settings.
Staffing profile access grants
Users are linked to access grants through their security group. The following table lists the access grants related staffing profile. Without these access grants, a user cannot view or edit a staffing profile, even if they are specified on the staffing profile's Configure Access page or are a participant in staffing profile related project (if any). For details about security groups and access grants, see Get started with the PPM Security Model.

Access options on Configure Access page
The following table lists the access options that you can grant to users on the Configure Access for Staffing Profile page. All users listed on the Configure Access page minimally have the view access.
Note: Without the appropriate access grants, a user cannot view or edit a staffing profile, even if they are listed on the staffing profile's Configure Access page. For details, see Staffing profile access grants.
Access to project staffing profile
If a staffing profile is attached to a project, every project participant can view or edit the staffing profile, based on their access grants. They do not need to be specified on the staffing profile's Configure Access page.
In addition, project managers can edit staffing profiles attached to their projects. Similarly, proposal managers can edit staffing profiles attached to their proposals and asset managers can edit staffing profiles attached to their staffing profiles.
Note: If users assigned to work plan tasks or specified on the staffing profile only have the View Staffing Profiles access grant, they still need to be added to the Configure Access page. Otherwise, they cannot view the project staffing profile.
For details on project and project process participants, see Project Management.
