The server.conf file is configured so that only one heavy PPM service can be run at any given time. This is enforced by having the values for the
HEAVY_QUEUE_CONCURRENT_CONSUMERS parameters set to 1 by default.
Although restricting heavy services to run one at a time is recommended, these low settings can be too restrictive. If listeners are unavailable and heavy services are scheduled in a certain way, some services may never run.
To run heavy services, we recommend the following:
