Configuring Timeouts for Workflow Steps
Timeouts determine how long a workflow step can remain eligible before generating an error. The Timeout tab in the Workflow Step window is used to set a timeout for the workflow step. See the Timeout field in the Workflow Step Worksheet (see Worksheets) for information about how to set the timeout.
To set timeouts for a workflow step:
-
On the PPM Workbench shortcut bar, click Configuration > Workflows.
-
Open a workflow.
-
In the Workflow window, click the Layout tab.
-
Right-click a workflow step, and then click Edit on the shortcut menu.
The Workflow Step window opens.
-
Click the Timeout tab.

Select Specific Value.

In the Timeout Type list, leave Constant selected.
