Conducting Basic Request Searches

Log on to PPM.

On the Search menu, click Requests.
The Search Requests page opens.

In the View Details for Request # field, type the number for the request.

Click Go.
To search for and list all requests:

Log on to PPM.

On the Search menu, click Requests.
The Search Requests page opens.

Click Search.

Log on to PPM.

On the Search menu, click Requests.
The Search Requests page opens.

In the Search for Requests to View section, provide values in one or more of the enabled fields.
Note: If you search requests by the Request Type field and set the server configuration parameter
SEARCH_ALL_REQUEST_TYPE
totrue
, you can find all the request types listed in the Request Type auto-complete list, including those you have no access to. However, you are not able to view the requests you have no access to. -
In the Choose Columns section:

From the Available Columns list, select the columns to display in the search results.

Use the right-pointing arrow to move the selected column headings to the Selected Columns list.

Use the up and down arrows to prearrange the order of the columns in the search results.

To save these search preferences:

In the Save this search as field, type a name for the search.

Click Save.

Click Search.
Note: As you navigate pages, PPM tracks the pages you have viewed and displays links to these pages below the menu bar. To return to a previous page, click the corresponding link.
