Copy request type rules

You can copy a request type rule from the same request type or from other request types.

To copy a request type rule:

  1. Log on to PPM.

  2. On the Open menu, click Administration > Open Workbench.

    The PPM Workbench opens.

  3. On the shortcut bar, click Demand Mgmt > Request Types.

    The Request Type Workbench opens.

  4. Open a request type.

  5. In the Request Type window, click the Rules tab.

  6. On the Rules tab, do either of the following.

    • Copy a rule from the same request type

      1. From the rules list, select the rule to copy.
      2. In the Copy Rule window, provide a name for the rule.

      3. Click Copy.

    • Copy a rule from other request types

      1. Click Copy From.

        The Copy Rules window opens.

      2. In the Request Type field, use the auto-complete to select a request type where you want to copy the rule.

        All of the rules for the selected request type are listed in the Copy Rules window.

      3. Select the rule to copy, and then click OK.

  7. Make any necessary changes, and then click OK.
  8. Click Save.
