Register products

As an administrator, you can add, modify, or remove Dimensions CM products in PulseUno.

Register a product to a space

To register products, you need a space. For details on how to create one, see Create spaces.

To register a product:

1. In PulseUno, navigate to Spaces and select a space.

2. On the Detail page, click Register and select Register Single Product.

3. Enter a title for the product.

   A PulseUno product is the same as a Dimensions CM product, but the titles can be different.

4. (Optional) In the Note field, enter a description for the PulseUno product. Use the tools to format and preview the description.

5. From the Repository Name list, select an existing Dimensions CM repository.

   To add a new repository, select Create new Dimensions CM repository. Then specify the connection details, as described in Connect to a Dimensions CM repository.

6. From the Product in Repository list, select a Dimensions CM product.

7. Click Save.

Register multiple products to a space

When you register several Dimensions CM products at once, you can't change a product's title or add a description. The new PulseUno products will have the same titles as the Dimensions CM products.

To register multiple products:

1. In PulseUno, navigate to Spaces and select a space.

2. On the Details page, click Register and select Register Multiple Products.

3. From the Repository Name list, select an existing Dimensions CM repository.

   To add a new repository, select Create new Dimensions CM repository. Then specify the connection details, as described in Connect to a Dimensions CM repository.

4. From the Products in Repository list, select Dimensions CM products one by one.

5. Click Save.

Edit a product

You can modify a product's title and description. For example, if you registered multiple products, you can then rename the products and add a note to each.

To edit a product:

1. In PulseUno, navigate to Spaces.

2. Select a space and then a product.

3. In the sidebar, select Settings. The product's general settings open.

4. Change the product's title and/or description. Use the tools to format and preview the description.

5. Click Save.

Delete a product

You can remove a product with all its streams.

Guidelines and limitations for deleting products:

• You can remove a product instantly or schedule to delete it in 7 days. During those 7 days, you can cancel the deletion anytime.

• Reviews in PulseUno are not deleted when their parent location is deleted. You can search for reviews and re-register the product to browse to them. For details, see Search.
• Deleting a product removes its streams from PulseUno but does not affect Dimensions CM.
• Delete a product or unregister a stream if you deleted the corresponding object in Dimensions CM and do not want it to be displayed in PulseUno.

To delete a product:

1. In PulseUno, navigate to Spaces, select a space, and then select a product.

2. In the sidebar, select Settings > Advanced.

3. On the Advanced page, click Delete This Product, and confirm your action.
   The product is now scheduled for deletion.

4. To delete the product instantly, click Complete Deletion Now.

5. In the warning dialog box, enter the name of the relevant space and product.

6. Click Complete Deletion Now.

   The product is permanently removed.

To stop the product deletion:

1. In PulseUno, navigate to Spaces and select the space containing the product.
2. Select the product scheduled for deletion.
3. In the sidebar, select Settings > Advanced.
4. On the Advanced page, click Stop Deletion, and confirm your action.
