Capture to Dimensions CM

Use the Capture to Dimensions CM plugin to capture built artifacts to a Dimensions CM stream.

Configuration

When you add the Capture to Dimensions CM plugin step to a chain, specify the following configuration details:

Field Description
Step Name Enter a name for the plugin step.
Use the chain's stream to capture targets (Optional) Clear this option if you don't want the step to capture targets to the stream that owns this chain. The option is selected by default.
Target stream

If you cleared the option Use the Chain's Stream to Capture Targets, enter the name of the product and stream where to capture the artifacts, for example:

QLARIUS:JAVA_BRANCHA_STR

Request (Optional) Enter the label of the CM request to be related to the artifacts.
Source directory (Optional) Enter the relative path to the source directory where the artifacts are located.
Target directory (Optional) Enter the relative path to the directory in the destination stream where you want to capture the artifacts.
Include patterns (Optional) To publish only specific files, enter one or more Ant patterns, one pattern per line. To publish all files, leave this field empty.
Exclude patterns (Optional) To exclude specific files from being published, enter one or more Ant patterns, one pattern per line. To publish all files, leave this field empty.
Commit message

(Optional) Enter a message to describe this commit to the CM stream, for example:

Uploaded by Capture To Dimensions CM

Flatten files (Optional) Select this option to publish all the files into one flat directory.
When no files are captured, mark the step as (Optional) From the list, select the state to assign to the step if no files are captured: Success, Failed, or Unstable.
